Component: Strengthening Regional / Community Foundations

Two parts of the program worked with two different sets of foundations - assisting them to raise funds for grantmaking / operations from local donors and thus becoming a new funding source for local NGOs as well as reliable grantmaking partners for local governments, state institutions, private donors and international institutions.

Component: Nonprofit Organizations on the Threshold of the EU: Support for Model Regional and Community Projects

This grant and assistance program aimed to strengthen the ability of community-based NGOs to create partnerships and projects that will have the potential to successfully apply for financial support from EU sources. These projects should, at the same time, strengthen the role of NGOs at the local level and should become a source of information and knowledge for others.
