Dolní Kralovice - The Libčice Chapel

For thirty years, this small monument was left deserted and unmaintained. The chapel became overgrown by the surrounding bush, the plaster and inner masonry began to badly crumble due to dampness, and part of the roof fell in, damaged by mold and rot. Today, the chapel features a new roof, windows, door and plastering. The municipality of Dolní Kralovice, which is organized the renovation, received a grant in the amount of $ 3,000 from Via. Upon completion of the restorations, Dolní Kralovice invited the former inhabitants of the town of Libčice to come to a small celebration commemorating the re-opening and ordination of the chapel.
