"A Year Differently" already making a huge difference

If you’ve stopped by Via’s office in recent months, you may have met a new colleague of ours who is working on a very important project.

If you’ve stopped by Via’s office in recent months, you may have met Aleš Jeník.

Aleš is one of this year’s winners of the Vodfone Foundation’s competition “Rok Jinak” (“A Year Differently”), in which Vodafone Czech Republic employees may work at a nonprofit organization of their choice for a year.

Aleš is leading the development of Darujme.cz, a website through which people may donate money to charities online by credit card.

This will be the Czech Republic’s first online giving portal: once Darujme.cz is up and running later this year, it will be significantly easier for people who wish to support Czech nonprofit organizations.
