02/04/2013 - Prague 1/2 Marathon Almost Sold Out

Considering the fact that Prague International Marathon has almost sold out all of their starting numbers for the April 1/2marathon, the price of the starting fee with the Via foundation is as of today 1300czk. We would like to thank all our runners and donors for support.

01/28/2013 - The winning project of the "Place where we live" programme announced. Francova Lhota is the municipality that rejoices.

The project was chosen by an expert evaluation committee consisting of the representatives of VIA Foundation (Nadace VIA), which is in charge of the programme, and the programme partners, Česká Spořitelna Foundation (Nadace České společnosti) and NET4GAS, s.r.o company. The winning project was implemented in Francova Lhota, a municipality in the Zlín region on the very border with Slovakia, where an area for relaxation and a playground was created on unused piece of land. 01/23/2013 - Join Us for the Prague Halfmarathon

The Via foundation is entering another season of the Prague marathon runs. We would like to hereby invite all running enthusiast and philanthropists to join us for the first of the marathon series, the Hervis Prague Half Marathon 2013. 10/19/2012 - Register for Prague Marathon in Time

Dear runners, running season in Prague may be over, but before you know it spring will come again. Since the popularity of Prague International Marathon runs is going up, we would recommend that you purchase your starting numbers in time. 09/13/2012 - The magnificent 55 joined Henry Kiplagate last Saturday

Another of the Prague Marathon series took place on Saturday, 8th September. 55 brave sportsmen set off for the 5 and 10km races to support the Via foundation. Together they covered the distance of 500km, which means they run all the way from Prague to the Slovakian Tatra mountains. (...more)

06/22/2012 - ViabilityNet - Regional Meeting in Bulgaria

On the turn of May and June 2012, twenty people from five CEE countries met in the seaside resort of Sveti Konstantin near Varna where the second regional meeting of the ViabilityNet program took place. The hosting member of the net, Bulgarian Centre for Not for Profit Law, organized an event that concentrated mainly on the issues of public benefit status and taxation of NGOs. (...more)

Here at VIA foundation we do not care much for the phrase „winning isn't everything“. Participating is not enough for us. This attitude helped us raise additional 81 000 czk for our programme Fast grants during the biggest running event of the year, the Prague Marathon. (...more)
