Czech Community Permanent Fund

The Czech Community Permanent Fund is a fund to ensure Via’s grantmaking ability for years to come. In other words, it is an investment into the future of Via which allows us the flexibly to address needs and opportunities in Czech communities as they arise.

Via’s Board of Director works with a team of investment managers to manage and increase Via’s permanent funds. The revenue generated is then used to give grants to nonprofit organizations throughout the Czech Republic and for organizational improvement at Via. In accordance to Via’s mission, the Czech Community Fund itself cannot be spent – only the revenue can be used. This means that contributions to Via’s Czech Community Fund give us the flexibility to address development opportunities and emerging needs of communities in the Czech Republic in perpetuity.
